Tehran, Jan. 13 -- Iran will be forced to consider evacuating its diplomatic mission personnel in London if the United Kingdom fails to ensure their safety, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said.

"In a phone conversation with the UK Foreign Secretary this evening, I made clear that the UK is, by international legal obligations, duty-bound to ensure the safety and security of Iran's London Consulate and Embassy. If the UK cannot uphold its duty to protect diplomatic missions, Iran would be left with no choice but to consider evacuating our personnel," Araghchi said on X on Monday.
