Tehran, May 21 -- The Iranian parliament has approved the bill on the agreement on strategic partnership between Iran and Russia, the Fars news agency reported on Wednesday.
The comprehensive strategic partnership agreement between Russia and Iran was sent to the Iranian parliament in early May.
According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, the agreement is actively going through the stages necessary for its ratification.
