Vienna, Sept. 15 -- Iranian nuclear program chief Mohammad Eslami, attending the Vienna session of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), on Monday declared that Tehran's atomic programme is deeply entrenched, and will not be eliminated through the use of military force.

He accused the United States and Israel of carrying out "illegal" strikes on its facilities during the 13-day Israel-Iran war.

"Enemies of Iran should know that our nuclear industry has deep roots and cannot be eliminated through military action," said Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran (AEOI), reports Iran International.
