Jerusalem/Tehran, June 23 -- Retaliating against the Israeli air strikes, Tehran launched a massive wave of air strikes against the Jewish nation on Monday, forcing thousands of Israelis in southern Israel to move to underground shelters, with one Iranian missile attack managing to disrupt the electric grid.

While no casualties were reported and most infrastructure is safe, strong disruptions to the electricity grid were reported in southern Israel, according to The Times of Israel.

The Israel Defense Forces, confirming the attack, said that six-seven missiles were launched from Iran in four waves over a 40-minute period.
