Tehran, April 18 -- Iran condemns the military activities conducted by the United States in Yemen, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Friday.

Araghchi is currently visiting Moscow, where he met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov earlier in the day.

"We also had a conversation on the topic of Yemen. Those events that are taking place in Yemen that have relation to the United States, we condemn these actions of the Americans. We hope that the crimes against the Yemeni people will be stopped," Araghchi told a joint press conference.
