Tehran, April 15 -- Iranian and Saudi foreign ministers have exchanged views on the Oman-mediated "indirect" talks between Tehran and Washington, said the Iranian Foreign Ministry in a statement.

In a phone call on Monday, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and his Saudi counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, also discussed bilateral relations as well as latest regional and international developments, said the statement.

Araghchi briefed the Saudi foreign minister on his talks with US Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff on Iran's nuclear program and the lifting of sanctions in the Omani capital of Muscat on Saturday.
