Kolkata, April 26 -- Ajinkya Rahane urged his side Kolkata Knight Riders to "live in the moment" and play positive cricket ahead of a crucial encounter on Saturday, even as opposition Punjab Kings (PBKS) skipper Shreyas Iyer chose to bat first after winning the toss.

Speaking at the toss, Rahane admitted the team had been patchy and called on the batting unit to step up. "It's all about playing good cricket, need to chase down whatever the target is," Rahane said.

"Our bowlers have been bowling really well. They have improved a lot. The boys have disappointed with the bat, but need to be brave in this format. Our batting unit needs to do well in this game. It's all about living in the moment and being positive."
