Chennai, Aug. 15 -- Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), a leading public sector bank, celebrated the
79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and pride at its Central Office today.
The event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Ajay Kumar Srivastava, Managing Director and CEO, followed by the National Anthem and an impressive parade.
The celebration was further enriched by a display of unity, as Mr Srivastava led the gathering in taking the pledge of National Integration.
In a special recognition, the bank's volleyball team presented trophies to the MD and CEO for their recent achievements.
