Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, May 26 -- MLC Satish Chavan on Monday demanded that the Maharashtra government should immediately appoint an inquiry committee to probe the alleged financial irregularities in the new water supply scheme approved for Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar city.
Regarding the financial mismanagement of the new water supply scheme, MLC Chavan said in a statement to the Member Secretary of the Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran (MJP) that the new water supply scheme at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar was approved in the year 2019 and it was expected that the work would be completed on time and the city would be supplied with the required water.
