Bhubaneswar, Oct. 6 -- Police in Odisha's Bargarh district today busted an interstate gun running and drug trafficking racket by arresting 15 accused persons including three from Chhattisgarh.
Acting on tipoff regarding the transportation, possession and sale of illegal cough syrup and firearms, a major operation was launched. Seven police teams, comprising officers from five police stations besides the special police squad, were deployed to conduct simultaneous raids at multiple locations across the district.
