Thrissur, Aug. 15 -- The second edition of International Literature Festival of Kerala (ILFK), organized by Kerala Sahitya Akademi, will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan here on August 17.

Palestine poet and journalist Asma Asisi, Tibetan poet and activist Tensin Sundu, Nepali poets Bhuvan Tilapia and Amar Prakash are among the 300 writers who will be participating in some seventy different sessions in the four-day festival at the Sahitya Academy's different venues.

"It is a people's festival that celebrates the power of literature to connect, question, and inspire", said Academy president K Sachidananadan.
