Srinagar, Sept. 16 -- Mutahida Majlis-e-Ulema (MMU), the largest body of religious organisations in J&K, today said the Supreme Court's interim order on the Waqf (Amendment) Act, 2025 offers little relief, as the core constitutional and religious concerns remain unaddressed, leaving the community anxious and dissatisfied.

The MMU headed by Kashmir's chief cleric and Hurriyat chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq stressed that Waqf is not merely about property but about religious trust and service to Allah.
