New Delhi, Dec. 30 -- : InterGlobe Aviation Limited, which operates the airline IndiGo, has received an assessment order from the Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) department for a GST demand along with interest and penalty amounting to Rs 458.26 crore.
In a disclosure made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the company informed the stock exchanges that the order has been issued by the Additional Commissioner of CGST, Delhi South Commissionerate.
The assessment order has been passed under Section 74 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, for the period covering financial years 2018-19 to 2022-23.
