Washington, Dec. 18 -- Inter Miami has extended the contract of veteran Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez for another season, the MLS club said.
Suarez has scored 42 goals and provided 29 assists from 87 games across all competitions since joining Miami on a free transfer in January 2024.
The 38-year-old, whose previous deal had been due to expire on December 31, made 50 appearances in 2025, scoring 17 goals and helping the club clinch its first MLS Cup title.
"Inter Miami has signed legendary striker Luis Suarez to a new contract through the 2026 Major League Soccer (MLS) season," read a statement on the Florida club's website on Wednesday.
