Bhubaneswar, July 19 -- The Odisha chapter of Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) has sought for the revival of the iconic Janata Ranga Manch in Cuttack in
an attempt to preserve the state's theatre culture for posterity.
The State Convener of Intach, Dr Biswajit Mohanty highlighted the historical significance and the current state of decay of this heritage institution which is now in ruins.
It needs to be revived and preserved for posterity, he further said.
The Janata Ranga Manch, since its establishment in 1953, has kept alive the theatre culture of Odisha and has continuously contributed to the promotion of plays by eminent playwrights. It had
