Hyderabad, Aug. 26 -- The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) trapped three government officials in separate incidents in Mahabubabad and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts over the past three days while they were allegedly accepting bribes for official favours.
On August 23, ACB officials caught Bhukya Rajesh, Inspector of Police and SHO of Dornakal Police Station, Mahabubabad district, at his residence when he allegedly demanded Rs 50,000 and accepted Rs 30,000 as a bribe through his gunman Daravath Ravi, a police constable.
The bribe was reportedly taken for releasing a seized vehicle in connection with an alleged crime and for extending cooperation in the case.
