Dhaka, Dec. 23 -- Inqilab Moncho has demanded the immediate resignation of the interim government's Home Advisor Jahangir Aslam Choudhary, his special assistant and Law Advisor Asif Nazrul, due to their lack of progress amidst their investigation into the killing of its convener, Sharif Osman Hadi.
In a press release issued on Dec 22, the cultural organisation insisted that the advisors should publicly disclose the reasons behind the alleged security lapse before they step down.
Presenting a three-point demand in the statement, the group highlighted a set of demands concerning the investigation and trial of Hadi's killing, which has led to massive socio-political turmoil in the capital.
