Buenos Aires, Dec. 15 -- Veteran Boca Juniors midfielder Ander Herrera could retire from football after an injury-wracked 2025, according to media reports in Argentina.
The 36-year-old made just 17 appearances across all competitions for Boca this year after his January move from Athletic Bilbao.
His contract is due to expire in December next year, but includes a unilateral termination clause allowing either party to end it this month.
