Lucknow, Oct. 22 -- Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati today said that the inhumane incidents against Dalits and vulnerable groups in Uttar Pradesh and other states across the country are highly condemnable and worrying.
Posting on her official social media account, Mayawati said that the brutal murder of a Dalit man over a minor altercation near Mundera Chungi in Prayagraj's Dhoomanganj police station area in April, and the incident of forcing an elderly Dalit man to lick the ground near a temple after being accused of urinating there in Lucknow have shocked society. She said that these incidents are being widely discussed in the media and raise serious questions about the law and order situation in the state.
