Chennai, July 21 -- Confirming he launch date hours after ISRO said the Indo-US joint advanced earth satellite mission NISAR will take place on July 30 at 1740 hrs, NASA tonight said NISAR was encapsulated in its payload fairing at Satish Dhawan Space Centre on July 18 in preparation for launch on the Geosynchronous Launch Vehicle (GSLV-F16) on next Wednesday.

The succesful launch of the mission will herald new explorations in space horizons between the two leading space faring nation as the launch comes in the backdrop of the successful Spadex docking and ISS mission piloted by Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla, who had successfullyy completed an 18-day stay at the Orbital station and conducted seven experiments of ISRO.
