Chennai, Dec. 7 -- In a major boost to industrial development in Tamil Naduthat would propel growth and create job opportunities, a total of 91 MoUs weresigned attracting investments to the tune of Rs 36,660.35 crore in the presenceof Chief Minister M K Stalin at the 'TN Rising' Investors Conclave held at theTemple town of Madurai on Sunday.
The MoUs, spread over various sectors, would offer jobs to 56,766 people.
The MoUs envisaged projects in various districts of the State to give a fillip toeconomic growth.
While 46 MoUs were signed by the Investment Promotion department attractinginvestments to the tune of Rs 35,560.15 crore and offering jobs to 52,060 people,the remaining 45 pacts were inked by the MSME depertment envisaginginvestme...
