Mumbai, July 23 -- IndiGo Airlines today issued a travel advisory for commuters in Mumbai and Delhi following heavy rainfall and traffic congestion in the city.
The advisory highlights severe traffic disruptions, especially on roads leading to airports.
The airline urged passengers travelling today to leave earlier than usual to avoid delays. Rain has affected vehicular movement, causing traffic snarls in multiple areas, particularly around airport routes.
In an X post shared by IndiGo, they mentioned, "Heavy traffic has been reported on several roads across #Delhi and #Mumbai, particularly on key routes leading to the airport. If you are travelling today, please consider planning ahead and leaving earlier than usual."
