New Delhi, Dec. 3 -- At least 38 IndiGo flights were cancelled at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) between Tuesday midnight and Wednesday evening due to technical glitches and operational issues.

An IndiGo spokesperson attributed the disruptions to "a combination of unforeseen operational challenges," citing minor technical glitches, winter-related schedule adjustments, adverse weather, increased air traffic congestion, and the implementation of updated crew rostering rules linked to Flight Duty Time Limitations.

The airline stated that these factors produced a "cumulative negative impact" that was unforeseen.
