Nagpur, July 19 -- A routine morning Indigo flight 6E 5349 from Mumbai to Nagpur today aborted its initial landing attempt at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport here, citing low visibility caused by dense monsoon clouds, a passenger told UNI.
According to the passenger the aircraft, which had already begun its landing, suddenly picked up speed and ascended sharply, prompting gasps and alarm among passengers.
Many were visibly shaken, with some murmuring prayers while others remained frozen in silence.
The sudden abort triggered heightened anxiety before the pilot reassured everyone via the intercom.
