Bengaluru, Dec. 5 -- The cascading cancellations of IndiGo flights at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) on Friday took a deeply emotional turn as a passenger carrying her late father's ashes was left stranded, unable to reach Haridwar in time for the scheduled immersion ceremony.
Namita, originally from Jodhpur and currently residing in Bengaluru, said she had mapped out a carefully sequenced journey - Bengaluru to Delhi, Delhi to Dehradun, and then onward to Haridwar - to complete her father's final rites on Saturday, the designated muhurat. However, the abrupt cancellation of her flight shattered those plans.
