Chennai, Feb. 1 -- With focus on capital expenditure-realisation of rockets and other hardware, the Department of Space has got an increased budgetary allocation of Rs.1,257.03 crore for FY27 taking the total to Rs.13,705.63 crore for the next fiscal.

For 2025-26, the Department had got a sum of Rs.12,448.60 crore.

Looking at the heads, the allocation for capital expenditure for FY27 stands at Rs.6,375.92 crore (FY26 Rs.5,309.87 crore) an increase of Rs.1,066.05 crore.
