Kochi, Oct. 28 -- The Indian Navy's indigenously built Survey Vessel (Large) Ikshak is set to be commissioned at the Naval Base, here on November 6, 2025, marking a significant milestone in India's march towards hydrographic excellence and self-reliance in naval shipbuilding.
The commissioning ceremony will be presided over by Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff, who will formally induct the vessel into service as the third ship of the Survey Vessel (Large) class.
