New Delhi, Dec. 8 -- As part of the ongoing Operation Sagar Bandhu, the Indian Navy has deployed four more ships to provide Search and Rescue and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) support to cyclone-affected Sri Lanka. The ships include INS Gharial, and three Landing Craft Utility (LCUs) 54, 51 and 57.
In a statement, a Naval spokesperson said that INS Vikrant, INS Udaygiri and INS Sukanya had earlier rendered relief assistance and heliborne support.
