New Delhi, July 26 -- India today advised its nationals in Cambodia to avoid travelling to the Thailand-Cambodia border areas in view of the armed clashes there.

An Advisory issued by the Indian Embassy in Phnom Penh said ''in view of the ongoing clashes at the Thailand-Cambodia border, Indian nationals are advised to avoid travelling to the border areas.''

Indian nationals were also advised to approach the Embassy in Phnom Penh in case of any emergency on phone number +855 9288 1676 or email cons.phnompenh@mea.gov.in

Armed clashes between the two Southeast Asian neighbours continued for the third day today. At least 30 people have been killed and more than 130,000 displaced in the clashes. UNI RB 1740
