Canberra, Sept. 25 -- The Indian Junior Women's Hockey Team is gearing up to play their five-match Australia Tour, to be held at the National Hockey Centre here from September 26 to October 2.
The young squad will play their first three fixtures against the Australia Junior Women's Team on September 26, 27 and 29, followed by two matches against Canberra Chill, a club playing in the Australia's premier Hockey One League, on September 30 and October 2.
The team is led by Captain Jyoti Singh and coach Tushar Khandker in what is a crucial set of matches in terms of India's preparations for the FIH Hockey Women's Junior World Cup 2025,set to be played in December in Santiago, Chile.
