New Delhi, Nov. 21 -- There has been a major development under Project Cheetah with the first Indian-born female Cheetah giving birth to five cubs, marking an achievement for the Cheetah reintroduction initiative in the country.

union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Bhupender Yadav made the announcement, stating that Mukhi - the first Indian-born female Cheetah, aged 33 months - has given birth to five cubs, in a landmark moment for India's cheetah initiative.
