Kuwait City, March 30 -- Indian Ambassador Paramita Tripathi visited the Central Mortuary of Kuwait on Monday, where the mortal remains of an Indian national, who lost his life during an attack on a desalination facility, were received.

During the visit, the Ambassador met Brig. Abdulrahim Al-Awadhi, General Manager of the General Department of Criminal Evidence, to convey appreciation for the prompt and sensitive support provided by Kuwaiti authorities.

The Indian Embassy continues to maintain close contact with the family of the deceased and is coordinating with Kuwaiti officials to ensure the expeditious transportation of the mortal remains back to India.
