Kabul, Nov. 7 -- Furthering diplomatic relations with the Islamic Emirate, India is planning to set up a research center for advanced agricultural studies in Afghanistan under the name 'Afghan-Hind,' which will strengthen Kabul's local capacity in agricultural production.

The proposal was revealed by India's Charge d'affaires in Kabul, Karan Yadav, who met with Afghanistan's Minister of Agriculture Ataullah Omari, and discussed the plan with him, according to a statement by the Afghan Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock.
