Yupia (Arunachal Pradesh), May 18 -- India clinched the SAFF U-19 Championship 2025 title with a dramatic 4-3 win on penalties against Bangladesh after the final ended 1-1 in regulation time at the Golden Jubilee Stadium here on Sunday. Captain Singamayum Shami opened the scoring for the hosts in the second minute with a long-range free-kick that beat Bangladesh goalkeeper Md Ismail Hossain Mahin, giving India a dream start.
