New Delhi, May 10 -- External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar today said that India and Pakistan have worked out an understanding on stoppage of firing and military action, and added that India will continue its "firm and uncompromising stance against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations".

In a post on X, he said:

"India and Pakistan have today worked out an understanding on stoppage of firing and military action.

"India has consistently maintained a firm and uncompromising stance against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

"It will continue to do so."

This comes as both countries agreed to a full and immediate ceasefire following talks between their Directors General of Military Operations.
