New Delhi, Aug. 9 -- India today welcomed the announcement of a meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on August 15, and said the meeting holds the promise of bringing to an end the Ukrainian conflict and for peace.
In a statement, the Ministry of External Affairs official spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said India endorses the upcoming summit and stands ready to support the peace efforts.
