New Delhi, June 24 -- India on Tuesday welcomed the reports of ceasefire between Israel and Iran and the role played by US and Qatar in bringing it about, reiterating that there is no alternative to dialogue and diplomacy to resolve multiple conflicts in the region. A spokesman of the External Affairs Ministry said India stands ready to play its part in these efforts and hopes that all concerned parties will work towards sustained peace and stability.
