New Delhi, Feb. 3 -- The India-United States trade agreement is a landmark step towards strengthening economic ties between the world's two largest democracies, said Praveen Khandelwal, BJP MP and Secretary General of the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), on Tuesday.
In a statement, Khandelwal said the agreement is expected to significantly boost bilateral trade, attract higher investment flows and generate large-scale employment, especially for India's MSMEs, startups and manufacturing sector.
He said the deal complements the Make in India, Atmanirbhar Bharat and Vocal for Local initiatives by expanding access for Indian products in the US market while also strengthening domestic value chains.
