Patna, Sept. 11 -- union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal today said that strict vigil was being maintained on the prevailing situation in Nepal and those stranded there would get all assistance from government of India.
Goyal, also a senior BJP leader, told media here that India was keeping a close watch on the violent agitation following a ban on social media in Nepal and its fallout. Indians who are stranded there and facing difficulties would be given all assistance by the government, he added.
"India has successfully rescued its people from war zones in various countries," said the Minister, adding the government would offer assistance to Indians in Nepal as well, if needed.
