Chennai, Aug. 10 -- Buoyed by the success of Axiom-4 Mission to ISS piloted by Indian Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla and the Indo-US Joint Satellite mission NISAR, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will be launching another US satellite--the Block 2 BlueBird communication satellite--in the next couple of months.
This was disclosed by ISRO Chairman and Secretary, Department of Space,V Narayanan at the
21st Convocation of the SRM Institute of Science and Technology at suburban Kattankulathur,
where he was conferred with the Degree of Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) along with
Dr. M. Ravichandran, Secretary, Union Ministry of Earth Sciences in recognition of their outstanding contributions to science and technology.
