Mumbai, Dec. 19 -- The Indian selection committee, led by Ajit Agarkar, will convene at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai on Saturday to finalise squads for next year's T20I series in New Zealand and the T20 World Cup 2026, BCCI confirmed on Friday.

Both squads are expected to be largely identical, with no major changes anticipated.

India captain Suryakumar Yadav will also attend the meeting, despite currently being in Ahmedabad for the fifth and final T20 against South Africa. The 15-man squad will be submitted to the ICC in advance, though teams can make adjustments closer to the tournament in case of injuries or form concerns. Further changes during the tournament require ICC Technical Committee approval.
