Chennau, Dec. 10 -- Trailing by two goals, hosts India scripted history securing the first ever Bronze medal in the Men's Junior World Cup with a 4-2 win over Argentina in the play off match for the third and fourth place here this evening.
The hosts recorded a sensational 4-2 comeback win against Argentina, pumping in four goals in a short span of 11 minutes to secure the third place.
Ankit Pal (49'), Manmeet Singh (52'), Shardanand Tiwari (57') and Anmol Ekka (58') scored for India after Nicolas Rodriguez (3') and Santiago Fernandez (44') had given the visitors the lead.
