New Delhi, March 22 -- India has sent humanitarian assistance to Botswana in the wake of the floods there, and also sent a six-bedded Dialysis Unit to Kiribati in the Pacific Islands.

The Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson said on X that the first tranche of medicines, surgical supplies, mosquito nets and water purifiers was sent to Botswana.

"India sends humanitarian assistance to Botswana.

"In the wake of floods in Botswana, the first tranche of approx 10 tons of assistance comprising essential medicines, surgical supplies, mosquito nets, water purifiers, etc was dispatched for Botswana."
