Mulheim, March 1 -- India's campaign at the German Open 2025 came to an end as Paris 2024 Olympian Tanisha Crasto and her mixed doubles partner Dhruv Kapila bowed out in the semifinals here on Saturday.

The Indian duo, ranked 30th in the BWF mixed doubles rankings, put up a valiant fight but fell short against the newly-formed Indonesian pair of Rehan Kusharjanto and Gloria Widjaja, losing 25-23, 10-21, 21-15.

Tanisha and Dhruv started strongly, racing to a 4-2 lead in the opening game. However, the experienced Indonesian pair, with world No. 10 Gloria Widjaja and 26th-ranked Rehan Kusharjanto, fought back to take a 12-7 advantage.
