Ahmedabad, Feb. 23 -- India's first Bullet Train project will deploy the advanced J-Slab ballastless track system based on Japanese Shinkansen technology along the 508-km Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail (MAHSR) corridor, officials said.

The high-speed rail project, spanning Maharashtra and Gujarat in western India, will provide rapid connectivity between the two states with stops at 10 cities - Thane, Virar, Boisar, Vapi, Bilimora, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand and Ahmedabad, before terminating at Sabarmati.
