Hyderabad, Dec. 31 -- India's broadband subscriber base crossed the landmark figure of 1 billion (100 crore) in November 2025, according to data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on Wednesday. The achievement marks a significant milestone in the country's digital journey.
Over the last decade, broadband subscriptions in India have increased more than sixfold.
The total number of broadband subscribers stood at 131.49 million (13.15 crore) at the end of November 2015, which has now grown to 1 billion (100.37 crore) by the end of November 2025.
