Bengaluru, Nov. 29 -- union Minister Jitendra Singh said India's aviation sector is witnessing rapid growth and moving decisively towards self-reliance, with indigenous pilot training, aircraft development, and technological innovation reducing dependence on foreign expertise.

"Immediately after becoming Prime Minister, Modi ji had said that even someone wearing simple slippers should be able to travel by air.
