New Delhi, Dec. 12 -- India's automobile industry continued its strong post-festive run in November, with all major segments of passenger vehicles, two-wheelers and three-wheelers recording their highest-ever sales for the month, according to data released by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) on Friday.

The total production of passenger vehicles, two-wheelers, three-wheelers and quadricycles stood at 29,43,456 units in November, reflecting the industry's robust supply capabilities amid sustained retail demand.

Passenger vehicles led the uptrend with 4,12,405 units sold, an 18.7 per cent rise over November 2024. Industry players attribute this surge to festive buying and better availability of popular models.
