New Delhi, Dec. 6 -- India-Russia "go together, grow together", which perfectly characterises the nature of the bilateral partnership, Russian President Vladimir Putin said today as he concluded a much-watched visit to India and held summit talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with the discussions focused on economic cooperation, energy security, defence and security, and people to people ties.

The two sides saw the inking of several MoUs and announcements, including the opening of two Indian Consulates in Yekaterinburg and Kazan, and the issuing of a joint statement titled "INDIA - RUSSIA: A Time-Tested Progressive Partnership, Anchored in Trust & Mutual Respect'.
