Paris/New Delhi, Feb. 11 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India is developing AI applications for the public good and is ready to share its experience and expertise with the world.

Addressing the audience at the AI Action Summit, at the Grand Palais in Paris on Tuesday, PM Modi said that loss of jobs is AI's most feared disruption. "But history has shown that work does not disappear due to technology. Its nature changes and new types of jobs are created," he added.

To overcome this, the world needs to invest in skilling and re-skilling of the people "for an AI-driven future".
